Lynne’s quiet approach with horses and her empathetic nature leads to a remarkable bond with them, and her skill as a truly connected horsewoman is a rarity these days.  Similarly with people, she adopts a calm and confidence-giving approach which aids treatment and recovery.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

When Lynne started classes to teach Emmett I attended one, not because I want to practice, but to try and better understand it. I was blown away by it! I now self treat when my foot and leg, with a bowed tendon, start to hurt. Less than a minute and all aches and pain are gone.

I invited Dr Lynne Deakin to speak about “The Magic in Those Fingers”. No one knew what to expect, Lynne opened with an explanation of the Emmett Technique before getting everyone to their feet, holding hands to form an electrical current between us all to light up a wand. Looks of astonishment shot around the room! This followed by willing volunteers for a hands-on demonstration; Lynne gently laid her fingers on points on the body which produced an involuntary twist from the waist. Another lady was ‘grounded’ (centred) and an increase in anothers hand grip all met with ‘wows’ of amazement from the audience. “The best speaker ever” and “she was brilliant” were just two of the comments I received from the departing ladies at the end of the evening!

My horse is working very strongly and without any signs of unsoundness. He is much calmer and not as spooky! I felt so different when I rode him after treatment as I found my hips much looser and my position straighter and so much more stable.
