horse and rider

HORSES & RIDERS

Being a rider myself, I recognise that our own body tightness, restricted abdominals, tight hips, unbalanced tight psoas, shoulder restrictions, clenched jaw, gripping with your knees, uneven weight in stirrups, poor ankle flexion, lop-sided seat, restricted arms and uneven grip on reins, can all affect our effectiveness as riders and so restrict the ability of our horse to be able to perform in balance.

There is a clear relationship between supple horses who move freely and in balance themselves and riders who are flexible with good core strength.

If you have a physical issue this may restrict the horses movement or put strain on their muscles. By using EMMETT techniques and those of renowned Physiotherapist Andy Thomas and his TESTT, I can help you relieve muscle tension and restrictions, so you will have a more balanced and harmonious partnership with your horse.

dog walkers

DOG WALKERS

Improve hand grip, relieve muscle tension in the shoulders, arms, back, hamstrings, calves, quads, upper traps and sacrum. Damage can come in many guises when we are walking our dogs, from being knocked over or pulled over from a sudden yank on the lead. These can all lead to injuries which if not dealt with can lead to further problems.
